Oops--Flat Tire!!

We were riding along and suddenly we started bumping on the road. And then we realized our tire was flat. We pulled into a parking lot and inspected the tire. We looked for the spare tire that was in the trunk. I liked hiding out in the trunk, and helping Grandpa part of the time.

Then we asked the lady in the big building if we could wash our hands. She said yes, so we went in the building and washed our hands. Then we came out and started driving, and all was well.

Breakfast at Palace Station

We ate breakfast at Palace Station in Las Vegas.

It was a buffet with so much food! And it was ALL YOU CAN EAT!! I stuffed my face like mad. It was yummy! There was stuff like cereal, but I didn't eat that because there was stuff like donuts, eggs, pancakes/waffles, and all kinds of good stuff.

The Gangster Car at Whiskey Pete's: Crime Doesn't Pay!

While we were in Primm, we went to Whiskey Pete's and saw a gangster car (NOT BONNIE AND CLYDE'S). See all the bullet holes? (Bonnie and Clyde's car was even more beat up!)

As we drove away, I saw a building that had a tower that looked like a castle tower.

The 2 a.m. Hero

The first night we stayed at Buffalo Bill's hotel/casino in Primm, Nevada.

When we were sleeping, the spirit told my Grandpa that our car wasn't locked, and that someone could rob it. So he got out of bed at 2:00 in the morning to go out and lock our car. None of our stuff was stolen.

Utah Travels

Back in November my Grandma and Grandpa invited me to go with them on a trip to Utah. Just me. No parents. No brothers or sisters. AND I got to miss one day of school. Even though there was a pajama party at school that day, where everyone was going to spend the entire day reading, I thought going to Utah would be a much better choice.
We had a lot of adventurous fun. We travelled a lot of miles and saw lots of people, places and things. I'm so thankful my Grandma and Grandpa took me on this amazing trip and I'll never forget it as long as I live.

The next few posts will be all about my adventures on my trip.
